The Lions Eye Bank for Long Island along with LIJ Valley Stream Northwell Health celebrated the ribbon cutting of its very own Donor Memorial Tree!
The Tree will serve to commemorate the selfless Gift of Sight given by organ, tissue and eye donors over course of the year. Each leaf represents an eye donor, and the event marks the first of our weekly Memorial Mondays where the altruistic act will be celebrated regularly!
