On October 4, 2000 at the Franklin Hospital Medical Center,  Lions Eye Bank Chairman of the Board, Lion Martin Efron and Eye Bank In-service Coordinator, Lion Jan Schichtel presented  certificates of appreciation to Nursing Supervisor, Irene Vigotty, RN and Emergency Room Nurse, Helen Yeman, LPN  for their help promoting the mission of sight restoration through donor family requesting.  We salute the Franklin Hospital Medical Center Nursing Staff for their outstanding work, support and dedication to the Lions Eye Bank for Long Island!
