The Lions Eye Bank for Long Island is accredited by the Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA) and registered by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a Human Cell, Tissue, amd Cellular and Tissue-Based Product (HCT/P) establishment. We are also licensed by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) as a Tissue Bank and a Non-Transplant Anatomic Bank for the procurement and processing of ocular tissue for transplantation, research, and medical education.
